The capital airport and the company “Master-Avia” punished for violation of legislation on protection of economic competition.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has decided to fine the international airport Kyiv to them. Igor Sikorsky on 681 thousand hryvnias. This was reported on the website of the AMC on Friday, November 16.

It is also stated that the AMCU fined the company “Master-Avia” at 1.8 million. The firm manages the airport Kyiv in the framework of the investment agreement for 49 years, which concluded in 2010.

“Fined, OOO Master-Avia to 1.8 mln hryvnia, and KP international airport Kiev (Zhulyany) at 681 thousand for violation of legislation on protection of economic competition in the form of anticompetitive concerted actions”, – is spoken in AMKU message.

Earlier it became known that the international airport Borispol paid a fine in the amount of 12.78 million, which was imposed by the AMC in January 2017. The capital airport was punished for abuse of a monopoly position on the market of spetsuslug.

It was also reported that in Kiev the airport was planning to expand the terminal and double its capacity. The project is estimated at 630 million hryvnia, and the work will be completed in may 2019.
