The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has fined Lenovo Group Limited 102 thousand UAH for the purchase of shares of Motorola Mobility Holdings LLC without permission of the Department. About it reports a press-service AMKU.

Lenovo fined 102 thousand UAH for the fact that after the purchase of shares of Motorola has secured more than 50% of the votes in the Supreme governing body of Motorola without obtaining permission of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, which is required. Thus, the company violated the law on protection of economic competition.

At the same time, the press service of the AMCU informs that the permission has been issued.

We will remind, in January 2014, Lenovo bought from the Internet giant Google the American company on manufacture of mobile phones Motorola Mobility for 2.91 billion dollars.
