The attackers were tasked not just to scare the Roma, and someone to kill or maim.

The man who organized the attack on the Roma camp in Lviv, received instructions via social media. This was stated by MP and member of the Board of the Ministry of internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko in the air of 112 Ukraine.

According to him, the organizer promised money for the organization of such attacks.

“The goal was to kill, maim, and don’t scare easily. Today I can confidently say that the organizer is contacted via social media with certain individuals, who promised him money for organizing these attacks,” – said Gerashchenko.

He also did not rule out that what happened was a massacre “by the action of the Russian special services in order to bring ethnic and racial strife in Ukraine.”

We will remind, in the evening of 23 June a group of unknown people with chains, pipes and knives attacked a Roma camp on the outskirts of the city. The attack had killed 24-year-old resident of the camp, four people were injured.

Police later detained six suspects in the attack.
