“Vadim Pogodin battalion Kerch, shot in June 2014 in Eastern Ukraine, a Ukrainian student of Stepan Chubenko (five bullets in the head, pre-engraved teeth) today. He was released from the detention center of Simferopol”, – said in Tver.

As for the other two defendants in the case – one of them is released, the whereabouts of another is unknown.

We will remind, on July 21, the Prosecutor General’s office asked the Russian colleagues to pass the Ukraine Pogodin.

Three years ago Pogodin commanded a battalion of DNR under the name Kerch, and wore the same Callsign. He participated in the fighting in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and Donetsk airport.

According to media reports, Pogodin charged with some heavy crimes: torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war and the murder of 16-year-old footballer from Kramatorsk Stepan Chubenko.

On may 8 last year killed Chubenko posthumously awarded the order of national Hero of Ukraine. 21 November 2016 in the school where he studied, a memorial plaque.

Pogodin fled to the Crimea and was arrested by Interpol in Yalta on June 20 on suspicion of murder and pagegenie people, after which he was sent to jail Simferopolskoe.

On 4 July it was reported that Russia prepares extradition Pogodin in Ukraine.
