Only four MPs have expressed willingness to become Trustees of the activist. The court rejected the prosecution, which demanded the arrest of a suspect.

Maidan activist Ivan Bell was released on bail of people’s deputies Andrey Denisenko and Oleg Petrenko. Such decision on Thursday, 17 may, adopted the Pechersk district court of Kyiv, reports UKRINFORM.

“The court held in house arrest… to refuse to Define people’s deputies of Ukraine Petrenko Oleg Denisenko and Andrei Sergeyevich guarantors suspect the Bell of Ivan Petrovich,” read the decision of judge Alexey Sokolov.

We will remind, the prosecution insisted on the arrest of activist, but the lawyers asked the court to deny the prosecution’s motion in full.

Earlier the court heard statements of people’s deputies Oleg Petrenko, Andrey Denisenko, Semyon Semenchenko and Vladimir parasuco’s readiness to become guarantors.

While Parasyuk expressed the opinion that the court generally needs to let go of Ivan Bell under the personal obligation.

The prosecution also tried to attach to the case materials from the media, which quoted direct speech of John Bell, who claimed that he did not recognize the court’s decision and will not carry out the decision about election of a measure of restraint.

In turn, lawyer Igor Korzok stated that such data is provided to bypass the existing norms of the criminal procedure code and that evidence was not properly presented.

The judge heard both sides and left the view of the prosecution without consideration.

The activist of the Maidan Ivan Bell militiamen detained in the Lviv region on 3 April and taken to Kiev. The Prosecutor’s office presented him with suspicion in the murder of two law enforcement officers on the Maidan during the revolution of dignity.

Subsequently, the GPU changed the suspicion to Bell on the encroachment on life of law enforcement officer and unlawful use of a weapon.
