Посол Великобритании объяснила, почему ее страна не дает Украине безвиз

London is worried about the safety of its citizens.

British Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough said that her country sees no possibility for visa liberalization with Ukraine in the near future, according to HB.

According to her, among other things, this issue is complicated by recent precedent, when the passport of the citizen of Ukraine illegally received the citizen of another state – the same man who shot the Chechen volunteers ATO Adam Osmayev and amine Okueva.

“We now expect a proper investigation of this fact to ensure that the process of issuing visas in Ukraine are protected and safe. Otherwise liberalisation will threaten the UK and the security of its citizens,” said Judith Gough.

Recall that immediately after the first assassination attempt on Adam Osmayev and amine Okueva in Kiev, which took place on 1 June, the people’s Deputy from the popular front and member of the Board of the Ministry of internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko declared that attacked them the killer was a Ukrainian documents in February 2016.

“Literally within five days he designed himself and the passport of the citizen of Ukraine, passport and certificate of identity code”, – said Gerashchenko.

It was also reported that immediately after the assassination, the killer found a Ukrainian passport.

In addition, the Ambassador of France in Ukraine Ms. Dumont stated that the EU is closely monitoring developments concerning the possible existence of a corruption scheme that allows citizens of third countries to receive the passport of Ukraine (we are talking about the Dina Emahool – the assistant head of the Migration service, who told the agent NABOO during the operation of the scheme of registration of Ukrainian passports with the forgery of a DNA examination, which should confirm the presence of close relatives in Ukraine).

“We are closely monitoring the situation. And if our suspicions are confirmed, it will be very important from the point of view of a visa-free regime,” she said.

In addition, Dumont said that since the onset of bezveza increased flow of illegal migrants from Ukraine to France.
