Dollar next year will rise, but not as much as previously expected

Ukrainian companies expect the average exchange rate of the dollar in the next year at the level of 28 USD.

Ukrainian business plans budget for 2020, with the dollar at the level of 28 USD. This was reported in a study by the European business Association, writes Interfax-Ukraine on Monday, 23 September.

“When planning the budget for next year the owners of the mortgage value of the currency at an average of 28 UAH/$1. Under forecasts of investors, the hryvnia will continue to grow, because last year the rate was at the level of 30 UAH/$1”, – said the Executive Director of the Association Anna Derevyanko.

According to a study on the development of business in 2020, I expect 77% of respondents, with 45% CEO predicts revenue growth of 10-20%.

At the same time, compared with a forecast for 2019, reduced the number of companies that intend to expand the staff. According to the survey, 47% of companies plan to keep the number of employees at the level of last year, and 46% SEO shared plans about the expansion of the state (last year this figure was 58%).

It is also reported that only 33% of companies in 2020 are going to start new investment projects in Ukraine.

With more than 90% of CEOs intend to increase staff salaries by 5-10%.

The study was 104 respondents top Manager of the companies-members of EBA. It is the fourth consecutive year.

Meanwhile, the hryvnia continues to strengthen with the beginning of the year. As of September 23, cash dollar fell to 24.25 – 24.6 USD.
