The Cabinet expects to raise social standards will take place in December at 10% rather than 6%. This was stated during the Cabinet meeting, which was broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman.

“The next item, we calculated our position and we see that we can introduce the increase of social standards for Ukrainians from 1 December not 6% as it was planned and 10%. But I am confident that we will be socially responsible in the future, and accordingly the growth of the national economy, we will understand that we need to fulfil our social contract before the Ukrainians”, – said the Prime Minister.

We will note, ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk earlier ordered to prepare a decree on increasing of social standards in may by 6%.

As izuzetno, Rada adopted the budget for 2016 provides for raising the minimum wage in may and December to 1550 USD. Thus, it is proposed to establish in 2016 the minimum wage:

month-on-month size: from 1 January – UAH 1378, from may 1 – 1450 UAH, from December 1 – 1550 UAH;

in the hourly rate: from January 1 – 8, 29 UAH, from 1 may to 8.69 UAH, since December 1 of 9.29 USD.
