The export of money from Russia reached $ 28 billion.

This year from January to November, the outflow of capital from Russia grew 3.4 times, compared with the same period last year. About it reports on Monday, December 11, the Bank of Russia, Interfax reported.

It is noted that the outflow has reached $ 28 billion. In the same period of 2016, the figure was 8.2 billion dollars. The regulator believes that in November the export of capital could be $ 4.2 billion.

According to the forecast updated in 2017, the total outflow in 2017 is expected to reach $ 17 billion when the price of oil in 50 dollars for barrel. According to representatives of Bank of Russia, the current amount of capital outflow affected banks that the “continue its policy of debt reduction”. According to the regulator, “the net outflow of capital to other sectors, which are actively attracted foreign investments and simultaneously increased its foreign assets were relatively less important”.

In 2015 and 2016 total net capital outflow from Russia amounted to 57.5 billion and 19.2 billion, respectively.

As reported, the net outflow of capital from Russia in January-April 2017 increased by 2.1 times, to $21 billion from $9.8 billion in the same period last year.
