The Pechersky district court of Kiev chose for a suspect in the obstruction of Euromaidan actions of the chief of the National joint stock company Naftogaz Ukraine, the former militiaman Sergey Pogotov a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest. On Monday, October 2, reported Ukrainian news citing the court’s decision.

It is noted that the Prosecutor’s office petitioned for the measure of restraint in form of detention for Sergey Pogotov, Igor Babich, Anatoly Seredinskiy.

As you know, Babich and seredinskiy, which now occupy the position of head and Deputy head of Department for preventive activities of the national police respectively, during the Maidan worked in the service Department of the work of the convoy units, special agencies and the judicial police.

At the same time, Sergey Pogotov, who now heads the group on security activities in Naftogaz Ukraine, during the revolution of dignity, he occupied the post of the first Deputy head of the Department of public safety of the Ministry of internal Affairs.

All three suspects systematic obstruction of meetings and coordination of law enforcement agencies in the course of force against protesters in February 2014.
