Denis Gritsenko told Russian investigators that he did not plead guilty and the offender himself does not believe.

This was said by the Ukrainian lawyer Nikolai Polozov, Interfax reported on Tuesday, December 11.

“Today, I finally met Denis Grytsenko, who said he did not plead guilty and a criminal does not consider himself” – said the lawyer.

Polozov said that when the Russian investigator has offered his client to interview, Gritsenko “wrote that he considers himself a prisoner of war and refused to give any testimony.”

According to the lawyer, Gritsenko exercised overall command of the captured Ukrainian vessels.

“My question Denis said that in the Crimea during the arrest, it the power is not applied. Also did not apply force and the special forces who was transferred. In Moscow, he said, also pressure is not, are respectful,” said Nikolai Polozov.

Later, they were all under arrest on suspicion in illegal crossing of the state border of Russia.
