“Monday will start the work of the Governmental Commission on investigation of causes of emergency on March 2, 2017 in S. Glukhov Sokolsky district, Lviv region on the subdivision “mine “Steppe” SE “lvovugol”, – stated in the message.

According to the Minister, the Commission seeks to establish the reasons for the collapse of the mine.

“The goal is to determine the cause of the accident, which led to the death and injury of people, from the inside to get information that it didn’t work: safety instructions or non-compliance, the provision of safety systems or their failure,” said Zubko.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed the Cabinet to conduct an audit of all mines in connection with the tragedy in the Lvov area. Was also announced a nationwide mourning.
