The Committee acknowledged an adequate understanding of the GPU on the criminal prosecution, detention and arrest.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on rules and organization of Parliament acknowledged reasonable, and adequate representation of GPU to criminal prosecution, detention and arrest of people’s Deputy Borislav Rosenblatt.

The conclusions announced by the acting Chairman of the Regulatory Committee Pavel Pynzenyk, UKRINFORM reported.

“With regard to the representation about consent on bringing to criminal liability of the people’s Deputy of Ukraine Borislav Rosenblatt, supported by and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko. the Committee considers that the submission is legitimate, reasoned, and reasonable, and adequate,” said Pynzenyk.

He added that similarly, legitimate and motivated, the Committee considers the performance of the GPU on the arrest of Rosenblatt.

Pynzenyk also said that the conclusions of the Committee, together with explanations of Rosenblat and views of the GPU will be sent to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Paruby.

We will remind , on 21 June, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko said on making submissions to Parliament on consent on bringing to criminal responsibility, detention and arrest of MP Rosenblatt, the actions of which are signs of undue influence and bribery for a total sum of 280 thousand USD.

Rosenblatt denies the Commission of the alleged crimes and declares that all three views are unfounded.

As reported Корреспондент.neton July 6, the Committee did not support the removal of immunity of MP from the popular front Maksym Polyakov.

On 5 July the Committee did not support the removal of inviolability from the people’s Deputy from the Radical party Andrei Lozovoy.

On 4 July the Committee did not support the removal of inviolability from the people’s Deputy Oles Dovgy (“will of the people”).

On 3 July the Committee did not support the idea of the GPU on lifting immunity of MP from the popular front Eugene Dade.
