The first ship of coal of mark “G” will arrive in Ukraine this week.

Energy holding DTEK businessman Rinat Akhmetov will soon deliver the first of 150 thousand tons of coal of the “G” from the US to replenish its stock of TES in the framework of preparation for the heating season. About it reports a press-service of the company.

According to her, the arrival to Ukraine of the first bulk carrier with 75 thousand tons of gas coal from the United States to Ladyzhyn and Zaporizhzhya TPP is expected this week.

“This delivery will allow to reduce deficiency of the brand “G” in Ukraine, which arose as a result of increased electricity supply for the thermal power plants operating on gas group of coal that was the result of the blockade and the loss of the anthracite mines in tubing”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that in Ukraine increased the demand for gas of coal of anthracite blocks of thermal power plants for operation on coal gas. From September on the mark “G” started zmiivska TPP, and from November will work two blocks of the Dnieper TPP.

DTEK said that the current level of production of coal of the “G” in the country can not cover the increased needs of the thermal power plant in the fuel, even despite the growth of production in the mines of DTEK at the end of nine months 10.5% – 16.9 million tons.

The company also said that DTEK has imported coal of mark “G” during the heating season the period of 2016-2017 years. Then I had to buy in Poland, 137 thousand tons of coal of this brand.

As reported Корреспондент.net, 23 October the port South came seventh in this year’s bulk carrier with 75 thousands of tons of anthracite from South Africa. Also arrived in Ukraine two shipments of anthracite from the USA.
