Private equity firm TVM Capital Healthcare and Kozyavkin Medical Group start cooperation and investment in joint venture

The new company Vivus Medical Rehabilitation Company Ltd will present the Method of Professor Kozyavkin– a specialized program of intensive rehabilitation with cerebral palsy and otherx lesions of the Central nervous system (CNS) in the international markets of the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America

03 may 2019, in Truskavets, Ukraine signed an agreement on cooperation between Specialized international private equity firm TVM Capital Healthcare (Dubai, UAE) and Kozyavkin Medical Group, which includes the international rehabilitation clinic of Kozijavkin in Truskavets (Ukraine). The purpose of the agreement is to create a company that will provide specialized treatment for patients with cerebral palsy, and other disorders of the Central nervous system in selected markets in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America. The Association of investors, TVM Capital Healthcare will own a majority of the shares of the company within the initial investment. A new company called Vivus Medical Rehabilitation Company Ltd will make of Professor Kozyavkin Method (intensive neurophysiological rehabilitation System, INRS) is available for most patients worldwide.

This method was developed in Ukraine for more than 30 years ago, and since that time more than 70 thousand patients were treated in medical institutions of Ukraine, the UAE and Cyprus, including about 17 thousand from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, USA.

In 1993 this system of rehabilitation was officially recognized in Ukraine and, due to its efficiency, has won wide international recognition. Describing modern conservative methods of treatment of patients with cerebral palsy, the famous German orthopedist, Professor Fritz Nitard in the encyclopedic edition of child orthopedics (1997) considers V. I. Kozyavkin method to one of the four most effective methods of treatment of this complex pathology in the world. This method of rehabilitation included in the registry of the European medical Association (EMA) as the “Best Medical Practice”.

May 3 at the International rehabilitation clinic of Kozijavkin in Truskavets, Ukraine, the agreement was signed by: gen. Director of the International rehabilitation clinic Kozijavkin Professor Volodymyr Kozyavkin, and gene. Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TVM Capital Healthcare Dr. Helmut Susler.
