It is noted that Poroshenko and Erdogan held a telephone conversation in which Poroshenko briefed the Turkish President about the situation in the Kerch Strait, and also about the actions of Ukraine, in particular, on the introduction of martial law.

“The President of Ukraine urged the President of Turkey to increase pressure on Russia to release Ukrainian sailors and ships,” – said the press service.

It is also reported that Erdogan will raise the Ukrainian issue in Buenos Aires at the G20 summit.

Earlier, Poroshenko said that he had requested a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, but Moscow did not answer.
