Конфликт на Донбассе можно завершить в ближайшие недели – Левочкин

The authorities can end the conflict in the Donbass, I’m sure Levochkin

This requires determination of the Ukrainian politicians, the issue of implementation of the Minsk agreements, said the MP.

In the coming weeks, Ukraine has the opportunity to end the conflict in the Donbas. This is the blog of a popular American edition of the Huffington Post wrote the MP from the Opposition bloc Sergiy Lyovochkin.

This requires determination of the Ukrainian politicians, the issue of implementation of the Minsk agreements, said the Deputy.

According to him, all political forces in Ukraine support the implementation of the Minsk agreements. “The current Parliament was elected in the midst of the hostilities and the parties that formed the majority used in his campaign war rhetoric and camouflage. Despite this, today we need to stop criticizing the Minsk agreement, to adapt and to begin implementation, because the peace has a higher priority than political games,” – said Nurdaulet.

In his opinion, an important step in resolving the situation in Donbas will be the local elections to be held under Ukrainian law under the OSCE monitoring. “They will form legitimate authorities in Donetsk and Lugansk, and will give control over decision-making from military to civilian, the purpose of which is to rebuild war-torn regions,” the politician said.

Thus, according to Liovochkin, now there are all opportunities and decision-making tools for the parties of the Minsk agreements, which will establish peace in the country.

He also said that the recent vote in the French National Assembly calling for the lifting of sanctions against Russia showed that “Ukraine’s friends are losing patience.”

Earlier today President Petro Poroshenko did not rule out the possibility of holding local elections in the Donbass in 2016 by providing the necessary conditions, the main of which is a police mission of the OSCE in the region.
