The Central district court of Nikolaev arrested the detainees on adminpraise with the occupied Crimea deserters Maxim Odintsov and Alexander Baranov for 2 months with the possibility of bail. We will remind that on 21 November the Ministry of defense of Russia accused the Ukrainian security forces in the alleged unlawful detention and removal from the Crimea two Russian soldiers – Maxim Odintsov and Alexander Baranov. Later in the SBU said that on the administrative border with Crimea, detained two deserters, who, after the annexation of the Peninsula moved to serve in the Russian army.

The SBU said they were detained after crossing the border at Chongar. Against them are being investigated criminal proceedings under article “desertion” and “treason” of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
