The DNR arrested a man for spying

The man also was charged with illegal possession of weapons.

The self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s Republic of debaltseve resident was sentenced to 19 years in prison on charges of spying for the Ukrainian authorities and illegal possession of weapons. This was reported on the website of the separatist so-called General Prosecutor’s office DND.

According to the separatists, “in July 2014, citizen R. gave its consent to the employee Debaltseve GUO gumvd of Ukraine in Donetsk region, acting in the interests of foreign intelligence, to collect and send for a reward for information on personnel, weaponry, numbers and locations of military equipment for use against the security of the DPR”.

“Fulfilling the mission, in November 2014 R. found in the city of debaltseve, two volunteers of the national militia DNR, to carry out combat tasks, than by telephone reported to the police of Ukraine. Subsequently, these volunteers of the national militia were missing”, – stated in the message of the so-called DNR GP.

According to the “Prosecutor General” in March of 2015 R. collected and recorded information on the number and locations of military equipment, number of personnel and weapons. The information collected, the offender was going to give person acting in the interests of foreign intelligence, but on the way to Artemovsk was detained by law enforcement authorities of the DNI.

“In addition, the process of their illegal activities, organized a compartment in which the illegally kept arms and ammunition”, – is spoken in the message.

The so-called “military Tribunal” recognized citizen p. guilty of espionage and illegal possession of weapons.

We will remind, earlier in Donetsk region detained the soldier-the contract employee of one of divisions of Armed forces of Ukraine, who previously fought on the side of the self-proclaimed DND.
