The head of state promised that Ukrainians will earn “decent money” at home and they will not have to go abroad.

Ukraine’s economy shows continuous growth for nine quarters. This was stated by President Petro Poroshenko in the framework of the working visit to the Nikolaev area, reports a press-service of the head of state on Wednesday, may 23.

“Today, nine quarters in a row, the Ukrainian economy is showing growth of 2.1-2.5, and in the first quarter of 2018, the Ukrainian economy grows 3.1%,” – said the head of state reminded about the increase of salaries in the country.

Poroshenko said that the Ukrainians don’t have to go abroad and to earn “decent money” in Ukraine.

“The principled position of the Ukrainians do not have to go abroad and here at home, earn decent money. And this is my policy as President – a decisive raising of salaries and pensions”, – said Poroshenko.

We will remind, on may 15, the state statistics service reported that in January-March of 2018, the GDP of Ukraine amounted to 3.1% compared to the same period of 2017.

Earlier it was reported that in 2017 Ukraine’s real GDP increased by 2.5% compared with the year 2016 (in constant 2010 prices) to almost 3 trillion USD.
