The European Union will give Ukraine an extra 20 million euros for the reform of the infrastructure sector. This was during the briefing said the head of the EU delegation to Ukraine Ian Tombinsky, reports “RBC-Ukraine”.

“Possible additional financial support in the amount of 20 million euros,” – said Ian Tombinski

“We as partners of Ukraine can only help those who are doing something and helps is advisable to direct our aid. Part of the transport recorded in the Association agreement… It’s a lot of work for the Ministry and for us to help Ukraine to develop its potential. Without transport there can be no economic development,” – said Tombinsky.

In addition, he said that Ukraine receives funding from the European Union on simplified conditions.

“European banks give kredytowy, the EU gives support to the money coming into the country not for those conditions, which has a rating of Ukraine”, – he stressed.

Tombinski added that the Ministry of infrastructure will need to submit certain documents that the EU has provided Ukraine with the money.

Recall, the government at the meeting approved the dismissal of Deputy Minister of infrastructure of Nicholas Snitko and was appointed to the position of the Yuriy Lavrenyuk.
