The EU did not mention the extension of sanctions against Russia

В ЕС не упомянули о продлении санкций против РФ

It is expected that the EU Council at the end of June will consider the issue of extending sanctions on Russia, but on the agenda this issue is not mentioned.

During the review of the agenda of the European Parliament, the European Council and the European Commission did not mention the extension of economic sanctions against Russia. On Twitter informed the correspondent of Radio Freedom Rikard Jozwiak on Tuesday, June 12.

“It is interesting that today neither the Council nor the Commission representative did not mention the extension of economic sanctions against Russia, when he revised the agenda of the upcoming June European Council at the plenary session of the European Parliament,” – said Joswiak.

Earlier it was reported that the Council of the EU plans at the end of June to consider the question of extending another six months sanctions on Russia.

Note, the US government has expanded sanctions lists, adding three more Russian citizens and five companies related to the Russian Federation.
