EU Finance Ministers did not support the use within the EU of the type stablecoin cryptocurrency tied to a real asset, according to Reuters.

“You can’t run in the EU, no agreement on the use of stablecoin as long as legal, regulatory and Supervisory issues associated with such cryptocurrencies are not identified and eliminated,” – said in a statement the EU Ministers.

Ministers are also considering developing rules for the control of cryptocaryon and stablecoin in the EU. The EU Commission is already working on a special order. The EU also engaged in creating their own digital currencies, which have become an alternative to private cryptocurrency.
