A special project of the EU in support of safety on the Azov sea coast provides for the allocation of 50 million euros. This was stated by the President Petro Poroshenko during the regional development Council in Odessa, reports UKRINFORM on Saturday, March 2.
“A special project of 50 million euros is directed to the Azov coast, support of Mariupol, Berdyansk, but also on the black sea coast, too, enough,” said Poroshenko.
According to him, none of his meetings with the EU leadership, wherever there was a speech about financial aid.
“This is, unfortunately, in connection with the aggression of the Russian Federation in the neutral waters of the Black sea”, – said the President.
According to the head of state, Ukrainians now more important to “not fail”.
“If we continue our movement to Europe, a number of European projects will only increase. And it’s not just the access to technical assistance, and access to huge financial resources”, – said Poroshenko.
Recall, Ukraine will break the agreement with Russia on the Azov sea after the decisions of international arbitration. This was announced by foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
