As reported in March, the European Commission officially launched the procedure for the allocation of Ukraine 1 billion euros of financial aid. At the same time, Ukraine was counting on large volumes.

According to the information on the website of the European Parliament, the EU will provide macro-financial assistance to Ukraine totaling up to 1 billion euros that will be provided in the form of medium-term and long-term loans. Assistance to Ukraine will be paid in two tranches. It is expected that the first tranche will be paid in the second half of 2018 and the second in the first half of 2019.

Earlier it was reported that the Committee of the European Parliament approved the allocation of 1.8 billion euros Ukraine.

Also, the EU stated that it can give Ukraine billion aid, but for reform.
