People with high incomes want to force you to file a Declaration once a year.

The Ministry of Finance has developed a bill that proposes to identify individuals with high incomes the ultimate beneficiaries of large taxpayers, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

The bill, which defines the criteria for individuals with high incomes and requires them to submit annual Declaration of property status and income, published on the website of the Ministry of Finance.

Among other criteria, the bill proposes to attribute to a specified group of taxpayers that are owners of 10% or more of the authorized (composite) capital or voting rights of acquired shares (shares) utilize non-resident, which declared the income for last tax period of EUR 10 million and more.

It is also proposed to be considered by individuals with high incomes to those whose annual taxable income for the previous tax (reporting) year exceeds 50 million UAH.

As indicated in the accompanying documents to the bill, according to the results of Declaration campaign for 2016 63 individuals reported income totaling 7,658 billion UAH, as a result of the State fiscal service (GFS) assessed that of 225.2 million UAH of income tax for natural persons and 26.6 million UAH of the military tax.

In addition, the bill proposes to expand the powers of the SFS to obtain information on the turnover of funds in Bank accounts of taxpayers.

We will remind, since January 1, began the phase of filing for 2017 persons authorised to perform state functions or local government.
