The first line of the Turkish stream will pass through the month

Первую нитку Турецкого потока сдадут через месяц

Laid 1047 km of pipeline in two-line version. It’s 55% of the total length of the offshore part of the Turkish stream, according to Miller.

Russian gas monopoly Gazprom in a month will complete the construction of the first pipeline Turkish stream, which is designed to transfer the supply of the Western part of Turkey on direct supply from Russia instead of the Ukrainian transit.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexey Miller in Ankara, Interfax reported on Tuesday, April 3.

“Everything is going according to plan. I can say that today laid 1047 km in the two-line version, it is 55% of the total length of the offshore section of the pipeline. The first line is built 827 km, and literally in the first week of may we will finish the laying of the first pipeline”, – assured Miller.

He added that it remains to construct the receiving terminal and the second thread.

It was reported earlier that Gazprom is forced to eliminate more than 500 km of pipes, destined for the Turkish stream, and gas metering station Morshansk. Steel pipe is not needed due to the reduction of the capacity of the pipeline – 63 billion to 31.5 billion cubic meters per year.

We will remind, Gazprom has not yet received permission to build the ground part of the second line of the Turkish stream Turkish authorities.
