The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will soon visit Israel in the course of which, in particular, will sign an Agreement on free trade zone between the two countries. On Wednesday, November 21, Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin during a working visit to Austria, according to UKRINFORM.

“The agreement is almost ready, now the technical end of cooking. I think that in the near future will be the visit of the President of Ukraine to Israel, and during this visit an Agreement will be signed,” he said.

While Klimkin stressed that the partnership with Israel is a comprehensive, “and there are many things that are innovative.”

“Therefore, we will not stop on goods, but go ahead on services and investment that the agreement was really very effective,” he added.

In addition, in a speech at the panel discussion in the framework of the international conference on combating anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism in Vienna Klimkin also remembered on the expected signing of the agreement on the FTA with Israel, saying that it will happen within the “coming weeks”.

Earlier Wednesday, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a decree on signing the agreement on FTA between Ukraine and Israel, and also authorized the first Vice Prime Minister – Minister of economic development and trade Stepan Kubiv on the signing of this document.

Before that, it was reported that Ukraine and Israel finalize the creation of a free trade zone. Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman claimed that the document could be signed in late November.
