Russian investigators have already examined in respect of three sailors. The lawyers opposed this procedure.

Russian investigators appointed psihologo-psychiatric examination for 11 of the detained Ukrainian sailors. About it on Monday evening, March 11, said the lawyer Nikolai Polozov on his page in Facebook.

According to him, FSB has appointed out-patient psychological-psychiatric examination in respect of 11 captured sailors.

“The investigative Department of the FSB has appointed today conducting psychological-psychiatric examination in respect of three prisoners of war of Ukrainian sailors… as of the current day investigation appointed out-patient psychological-psychiatric examination in respect of 11 prisoners of war”, – stated in the message.

The day before, on 11 March, the following activities were carried out against Eugene Semitecolo, Andrew Adera and Sergei Popov.

Polozov also noted that the protection was against this examination. However, lawyers had filed a petition to the presence during the examination.

We will remind, on November 25, the Russian special forces had seized two Ukrainian boats of Berdyansk and Dnipropetrovsk and tug Jana’s tray on the way to the Kerch Strait. 24 Ukrainian sailors were arrested on charges of “illegal crossing of border of the Russian Federation”, three of them were injured.

All captured sailors told investigators that they are prisoners of war.
