The Fund Igor Yankovsky awarded the finalists of the V all-Ukrainian children drawing contest “UKRAINE-the LAND of TALENTS”

June 17, 2017 in the Ukrainian house on Khreschatyk street, a solemn ceremony of rewarding of participants and winners of the anniversary V-th all-Ukrainian children drawing contest “UKRAINE – the LAND of TALENTS”. Children’s creative competition for the fifth consecutive year organized a Charity Fund Igor Yankovsky “Initiative for the future”.

Throughout the competition the jury was sent to 605 of works by young artists aged 5 to 17 years from 22 regions of Ukraine.

“Congratulations on the fifth anniversary all-Ukrainian contest of children’s drawings! Over five years and have organized many exhibitions of winners and finalists of the competition, both in Ukraine and abroad, particularly in the building of the UN General Assembly in new York. Thus, everyone had the opportunity to look at our country through the eyes of children. Our world is changing, now all are engaged in digital technology, IT. But I think the future belongs to creative people. The Charity Foundation “Initiative for the future” always supports the creative and talented youth in different fields: culture, science, innovation. We will further continue our charitable cause,” said the founder of the Charity Fund “Initiative for the future” Igor Yankovskiy welcoming the participants and guests in the hall.

The composition of the expert jury this year consisted of famous artists and the young winner of the III all-Ukrainian children drawing contest “BELIEF.HOPE.LOVE.” Maria Zwolinska.

The results of the professional jury selected 30 finalists among which identified 9 major winners and the 21st of the nominee. In the age group of 5 to 8 years finalists are: Anastasia Starovoit (Kyiv, Ukraine), Valeria Sly (Bucha city, Kyiv region), and first place went to Anastasia Taratina (Zhytomyr) with the work “the ERA of QUEEN CONTINUES: WE are opening a NEW PLANET.” In the age group of 9 to 13 years the finalists were Maria Karpenko (Nikolaev) and amine Dovgy (Monastyrets’, Zakarpatska region), first place went to Amelie Ichenskaya (Kyiv) with the work “COUNTRY of INSPIRATION”. Leaders in the senior age category of the competition for the age group from 14 to 17 years were Ksenia Pustovit (Nikolaev), Margaret Grigorchuk (Chernivtsi), the Grand prize and first place was awarded to Victoria Komarnicki (Kolomiya, Ivano-Frankivsk region) for the artistic work “the CREATIVE WORLD of MARIA PRIYMACHENKO”.

Traditionally, all the young participants received diplomas from the organizers of the contest, and finalists are awarded a wonderful art sets. The winners of the V-th all-Ukrainian children drawing contest “UKRAINE-the LAND of TALENTS” has received travel vouchers to children’s camp “Artek-Carpaty” for creative recreation. It should be noted that from 17 to 29 June at the Ukrainian house opened a unique art exhibit hundreds of works of finalists and winners.

At the end of the event the Fund Igor Yankovsky has organized various creative workshops on manufacturing of toys technique wet felting; for the manufacture of compositions bumagodelatel technology; making toys out of clay; making cards scrapbooking technique; on the art of painting bags; making rag dolls. Children and their parents surrounded the masters and for a few minutes were involved in the process of creating things with their hands.

For many years, the Fund Igor Yankovsky “Initiative for the future” cares about the creative generation of talented young Ukrainians. Thanks to his support, children reveal their creativity, spirituality and inherit the creative generation of Ukrainian artists.
