Today in Dnepropetrovsk hosted the first edition of the 29 instructors of the training center special operations Forces qualification course in the framework of the joint multinational force (USA, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia). This is stated in the report of the General staff in Facebook.

The course lasted six months, from November 2015. Previously this course was only possible to go abroad, noted in the General staff.

“In war, we made the difficult decision to create, in a short time special operations Forces, and consistently implement the tasks”, – said the commander in chief of the armed forces Victor Majenko.

Colonel Alexander Trepak in turn, stressed that the release of the first instructors a strong Foundation for a new school for the training of special forces in the training centre special operations Forces.

Note, in the beginning of the year commander of the special operations Forces was appointed major-General Igor Lunev.
