The brigade commander Alex Maystrenko allegedly intends to deport wounded soldiers directly from the hospital.

The soldiers of the military units of the Georgian national Legion announced the withdrawal from the 54th mechanized brigade (Ombre). About it reports a press-service of the Legion on his page in Facebook.

It is noted that the division of the full team left the brigade to December 20.

According to the report, the decision was taken due to “the incompetence of the commander of crew of Alexey Maystrenko and his illegal orders”. We are talking about the “operation on 16 December” in which wounded 11 soldiers. While the details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

“The problem is that the commander of the 54 brigade is trying to deport directly from the military hospital wounded soldiers of the Georgian Legion, who can tell the truth about the illegal orders and actions of the commander Maystrenko and his entourage”, – stated in the message.

As reported Корреспондент.netGeorgian national Legion was founded in 2014. 24 February 2016, the Legion was part of the APU. It was the first time in Ukraine’s history when foreigners were officially accepted into the army.

The first military card was issued by the commander of the Legion, citizen of Georgia, Mamuka Mamulashvili. He said that the unit will accept volunteers from the United States.

At the same time Georgia has permitted citizens to fight on the side of the Ukrainian army.
