Neuber emphasizes that the attack on Vasyl Volha is consistent with the policy of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. “The attack on the Volga is consistent with the policy of the President of Petro Poroshenko. In may last year, the President signed four anti-Communist law. In this regard, in July the Ministry of justice has taken all legal efforts to ban the Communist party of Ukraine and two other smaller parties”, — quotes the edition of Amnesty International.

According to Neuber, to the attempt has already responded in Germany. One of the deputies of the Bundestag from the Left party said that the left condemns attack on Vasily Volga and call on the Ukrainian authorities to ensure his protection. “It is very important to take care of the international attention to the fact that the new “Union of left forces” in Ukraine without repressions was able to perform political functions”, — said the Deputy.

We will remind that on April 26 the leader of the United left Vasili Volga at the invitation of the deputies of the European Parliament, representing the left political forces, went on a business trip to Germany. MEPs, concerned about the violations of fundamental rights and freedoms of Ukrainians in connection with the events that occurred on April 22 in the city of Zaporozhye, asked Vasily Volga personally to tell about the incident to publicly respond to the situation in Ukraine.
