To the former Minister in Israel came deputies Lutsenko and offered to close the case in exchange for testimony against the former President.

Former energy Minister Eduard stavytskyy said that to him in Israel was visited by the Deputy Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko and offered to close the case against him in exchange for testimony against the former President Viktor Yanukovych. In an interview with Israeli TV channel iLand said the lawyer, Yanukovych Alexander Gorodinsky.

“As I learned from Eduard Anatolyevich, indeed, he received an offer from the Deputy attorney General who came to Israel, to give perjury against Yanukovych…. In return, they promised, as I understand it, to stop criminal proceedings against Eduard Anatolyevich. Of course, Edward A. abandoned such illegal actions”, – said Gorodinsky.

Sam Stavitsky said that he wants to talk under oath about all the events that took place from December 2013 to 27 February 2014, as well as the facts that took place in 2016, when he already lived in Israel.

The former Minister said that it has substantial facts that may affect the decision of the court in the case of Yanukovych.

“I beg You not to refuse me my right through a video conference, according to all norms of international law, under oath to cover all the facts that You give a full assessment of all events that occurred in the period that is considered in your court. I say again that I am a citizen of Israel, and given to me by law reserve law and claims – accent on that word phrase – claims – to anyone who will forbid me to realize all my rights…”, – said Stavitskiy.

As you know, on November 19, is scheduled to address Yanukovych with the last word in the case of treason.

Let’s note, earlier the PGO reported that Stavisky offered a plea deal, but he rejected it.
