The head of the EP has approved one billion euros for Ukraine

Antonio Tajani signed a decision on the allocation of Ukraine 1 billion euros of macro-financial assistance.

The President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani and the representative of Austria, who now heads the presidency to the European Parliament, signed a decision on providing macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 1 billion euros. Wrote about this in his Twitter Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Kingdom of Belgium, the representative of Ukraine to the European Union and the European atomic energy community Michael Tochitskii.

“The decision of the European Parliament and of the Council on providing macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 1 billion euros was signed today by the President Tajani and the Austrian presidency on the eve of the 20th summit Ukraine-EU. Very grateful for the support of all friends of Ukraine in the EU!” – wrote Tochitskii on Twitter.

Earlier, on June 26, the allocation of €1 billion aid to Ukraine, approved the Council of the European Union, 13 June – supported the European Parliament, and on may 29 the Committee of permanent representatives of the member States of the European Union COREPE.
