Liquidation of consequences of a fire in a nursing home in the village of M Brovarsky district, Kyiv region will be engaged in two headquarters – regional and district. About this on his page in Facebook wrote the head of the Kyiv regional state administration (RSA) Maxim Melnychuk.

“In the Kiev region created just two staff on elimination of consequences of a fire – regional and district. Their primary objective is to determine the level of emergency,” wrote Melnychuk.

He noted that district staff has already given his assessment of the tragedy and identified the emergency as the state level.

“The headquarters will also collect and summarize all the information which will come from various institutions working on the fire place; to ascertain the necessary details and information; to hear representatives of the state emergency service for fire suppression and prevention work to prevent such incidents in the future”, – said the head of RSA.

We will remind, a fire in a nursing home in litochky appeared tonight, may 29, around 3:43.

First, to extinguish the fire were attracted by the local fire brigade of the closest settlements. Just on the scene worked 28 pieces of equipment and more than 150 people.

According to Goschs, the fire was localized at 5:25 and eliminated in 8:25.

Rescuers managed to save 18 people out of 35 who were in the building. 5 people with burns of different severity are in the hospital.

At the fire scene found the bodies of 17 people. A search of the bodies ended at about two in the afternoon. In Kyiv region declared mourning for the victims of the tragedy.
