Newly appointed Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan said that might resign in a month of work in the case of blocking of the initiated reforms in the transport sector. About it reports “UNIAN”.

“For me the key is the first month. If you come decent people, if there will be a clear indicator that we are moving forward – it makes sense to continue to fight. If in the course of this month will start a lot of problems, meaning no more,” said Omelyan.

He also stressed that one of the important conditions for the continuation of his tenure as Minister of infrastructure is the adoption by the government of candidates for the posts of heads of strategic state enterprises “Ukrposhta” and “Railways” selected by the Committee at the Ministry of economic development in the course of the competition.

“Position me not the road, since I here do not earn, so as I quietly agreed on this post, and leave. Tomorrow, I hope these appointments (heads of “Ukrpochta” and “Ukrzaliznytsya”, – an edition) will take place, and I can say that the country has made a qualitative step forward, that is the only two top companies of Ukraine, the management of which was assigned as a result of fair competition,” said Omelyan.

The ex-Minister of infrastructure Andriy Pivovarsky, in turn, told the journalists that his main flaw during the tenure of the Minister was a delay with the change of leadership accountable to the Ministry of transport SOEs.

“I had to quickly change people in the industry, sharper, and faster,” said brewer.

He also added that as Minister of infrastructure is not expected to face plenty of problems in the process of legislative work of the Parliament.

“At that time, when I was appointed Minister, I could not even imagine what could be the problem in working with the Verkhovna Rada… I did not put a condition of acceptance of 100% of the laws, but I didn’t realize that this could be a problem,” he said.

In turn Omelyan said he intends to focus on close cooperation with people’s deputies.

“I hope that in the next week I will complete the formation of the team and I will have a Deputy on whom you can rely. I’ll set up camp under the Parliament or in the Parliament, and going to live there and ask them to vote for legislation, this works,” he added.

Recall, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine headed by the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman. The Minister of infrastructure was Volodymyr Omelyan.

Before the Parliament one resolution satisfied the statement of Arseniy Yatsenyuk about resignation from the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine and appointed as his successor the speaker of the Parliament Volodymyr Groysman.
