The high Council of justice has stopped the work of the courts in the Crimea and in the occupied territory of Donbass. The corresponding decision is published on the official website of the Department.

As noted, January 9, the VSP received a presentation of the Chairman of the Supreme Court on the termination of the work of the courts in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk regions in connection with “measures to combat terrorism” and to ensure the proper transfer of judges to a permanent place of work in other courts of the same level without competition.

Thus, the High Council of justice stopped 36 of the Ukrainian courts, which operated until the annexation of the Crimea, 31 court of Donetsk region and 17 court of the Luhansk region, which operated in the occupied territories until 2014.

We will remind, the High Council of justice removes caves and goloseevskij district courts of Kiev, to create instead Central district court.
