The growth of Ukraine’s GDP decline slightly, the IMF predicts

The international monetary Fund downgraded the growth forecast for Ukraine’s GDP in 2020 from 3.5% to 3%.

The international monetary Fund has lowered the forecast on growth of gross domestic product of Ukraine in 2020 from 3.5% to 3% (year-on-year). This is stated in the IMF report Regional Economic Outlook the economies of European countries.

Note that in the April IMF report on global growth, it was indicated that Ukraine’s economy will grow at 3.5% in 2020, however, similar to the October report stated that the growth of Ukraine’s GDP in 2020 will be at the level of 3%.

Earlier it became known that the international monetary Fund can provide the first tranche of the new credit program for Ukraine by the end of the year.

It was also reported that in the third quarter of 2018, the growth of the gross domestic product of Ukraine was 2.8% compared to the same period in 2017, while in the second quarter it was 3.8% in the first and 3.1%.

As you know, the IMF agreed to a new program for Ukraine after the government raised gas prices by 23.5%.
