The Cabinet had deferred till November 28 the entry into force of the new order of crossing the demarcation line in the Donbas

The Cabinet has postponed the date of introduction in action of new rules of crossing of the demarcation line in the Donbas in connection with numerous appeals of citizens.

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decision until 28 November to postpone the entry into force of the decree “On approval of the procedure of entry of persons, movement of goods in the temporarily occupied territory in Donetsk and Lugansk regions and the movement of persons, movement of goods with these territories.” This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of veterans Affairs, the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine on Wednesday, October 16.

According to this decree, from October 29 to had to change the rules of crossing checkpoints between the occupied territories temporarily controlled by the Ukrainian authorities territories for children up to 14 years (according to the new rules when crossing the demarcation line, the children would have to have a passport).

After receiving numerous complaints of citizens and analyzing the situation, Minuterna took the decision to postpone the entry into force of these rules.

“At the meeting of the government of the entry into force of decree No. 815 was suspended for 30 days, i.e. until 28 November this year”, – concluded in the Ministry.

We will remind that earlier the chief of General staff visited the breeding site in the Donbas, where he spoke with people in the Petrovsky, Gold and Stanitsa Luganskaya.

It was also reported that Zelensky has instructed to simplify the movement of citizens across the line of demarcation. The decree was issued with the aim of creating conditions for transition of citizens and vehicles across the river Seversky Donets in Stanichno-Lugansk the area.
