The IPF will work after three months of inactivity

ОПЗ заработает после трех месяцев простоя

The plant will start production

The plant has already concluded a gas supply contract.

Odessa portside plant is planning to resume work after three months of inactivity. This was stated by the acting Director of the HMO Sergey Nazarenko, according to local newspaper WUXI.

“Tentatively we plan to leave repair of aggregates of urea and ammonia up to 10 October,” – said Nazarenko.

In addition, the HMO entered into a contract for the supply of natural gas to a private company. Gas will be supplied under a tolling arrangement. IPF state that the price of gas will be below that which provides industrial consumers of Naftogaz, and will be 7600 UAH per thousand cubic meters.

“Due to the fact that we do not have enough working capital, we can only work on tolling scheme. Gas in exchange for ammonia”, – said Nazarenko.

Recall that the IPF was stopped in July. Now the company only ships in inventory levels.

At the end of December 2016 IPF was stopped production due to high natural gas prices and accumulated debts of the plant to Naftogaz. In March, the plant was restored.
