The economic court of Lugansk region will consider the claim of the Ministry of justice to the company LINIK, which is a “daughter” of the Russian Corporation Rosneft.

The Ministry of justice appealed to the Economic court of Lugansk region with a request to recover from CHAO LINIK (Lisichansk refinery) 705 million UAH as a setback by losing in the European court under human rights the claim of the company Agrocomplex. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of justice Sergiy Shklyar today, January 23, at a press conference in Kiev, Interfax-Ukraine.

“The lawsuit arose from the execution of the ECHR decision, which had already made the payment of EUR 27 million from the state budget. Now the amount of the claim is based on the percentages 705 million. This lawsuit has already been filed. Yesterday, the first preparatory meeting on the case adjourned until February 12. We had filed petition, including the seizure of the property of the defendant … Until the court decided with satisfaction or deviation requests,” he said.

As reported, the owner LINIK is a Russian Corporation Rosneft.

The ECHR acknowledged in 2011, the company Agrokompleks victim in a lawsuit for overdue debts against Lisichansk refinery, and two years later decided to pay the Agro EUR27 million of fair compensation, which were listed in the court designated two-year term.

In a written decision, the ECHR noted that the Agrokompleks conducted with Russian companies barter exchange transactions Ukrainian food raw materials on Russian crude oil for further sale of finished oil products. The case concerned the bankruptcy period 1996-2004, initiated by the applicant against the biggest oil refinery in Ukraine in an attempt to recover overdue debts.
