In Poland there are different opinions regarding the Ukrainian law

Warsaw has not joined the countries that voted against the Ukrainian law.

The Polish authorities have not yet finally determined its official position regarding the law of Ukraine On education. This was announced by the Ambassador of Poland in Ukraine Jan Hell during the Congress of initiatives in Eastern Europe, held in Lublin, reports UKRINFORM.

“Poland will not join the letter of countries that voted against the law. We are waiting for a meeting with ed (the head of the Ministry of education of Ukraine – ed.) where you want to hear her opinion,” the Ambassador said.

Yan Thick said that such a meeting will happen one of these days.

In turn, the former Minister of education Poland Krzysztof Stanowski said he understands the Ukrainian side. According to him, it is right that those who live in another country, should know its language. Stanowski reminded that everyone who lives in Poland, exams exclusively in Polish.

“And each has a tutorial in Polish language”, he added.

As reported Корреспондент.netin the evening of 25 September, President Poroshenko signed the law On education. The document sharply criticised Hungary, Romania, Moldova and some other countries.
