The majority of Ukrainians do not support IMF loans

Almost a quarter of Ukrainians approve of the tranches from the Fund.

The majority of citizens of Ukraine – 72% – have a negative attitude to Ukraine the loans to the International monetary Fund. This is evidenced by the joint survey of companies sociopolis: Social, Political & Market Research and cоntact 2call center.

According to the survey, 2polnostyu not поддерживают2 loans to the IMF of 49.1%, and “rather not support” – 22.9 per cent.

At the same time almost a quarter – 24.8 percent – of respondents have a positive attitude to Ukraine the loans to the IMF. So, fully support them 9% of respondents, and more support is 15.8%. Another 3.2% of respondents could not answer the question.

We will remind, on 5 April, Ukraine has received from IMF fourth tranche of one billion dollars. And by the end of 2017 Ukraine will be able to receive three tranches from the IMF totaling $ 4.4 billion.

The survey was conducted among 1 600 respondents across Ukraine (except for occupied Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as of individual regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions) at the age of 18 years or above 19-25 April 2017 method telephone interview. Statistical sampling error does not exceed 2.4%.
