Ukraine in 2018 will enter the top ten largest exporters of dairy products in the world. This forecast was made first Deputy Minister of agrarian policy Maxim Martyniuk, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

“We have begun to develop animal and, according to preliminary statistics, this year we will go into world leaders – the top ten exporters of dairy products. Our yields are growing, productivity per animal increases, which is a good trend, which must be maintained in the next year,” he said.

According to him, Ministry of agrarian policy in 2019 will retain the system of state support for agriculture and will take into account “the mistakes made in this year.”

“We will change the delivery mechanisms of cash to as many entities operating in the agricultural business, received the money,” said Martyniuk.

We will remind, earlier the Ministry of agrarian policy and food revised the crop estimate in 2018 in the direction of increasing and predicted grain exports at the level of 42,5 mln tons. However, export growth depends largely on the ability of Railways to quickly resolve logistical problems and ensure the smooth delivery of grain to ports, the Ministry said. For the operational solution of problems of logistics in agriculture in the Ministry of agriculture has even created a special headquarters, which included representatives of the Ministry of agrarian policy and food, Ministry of infrastructure, Ministry of ecology and natural resources, state ecological inspection, the Antimonopoly Committee, the State fiscal service of the state enterprise Administration of sea ports of Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia, as well as MPs, representatives of enterprises and associations of agribusiness.
