Victims of hostilities in the Donbas have received assistance amounting to more than 15 million euros in the framework of the humanitarian mission of Pope Francis. This at a press conference on Saturday, November 17, announced Archbishop Claudio Gugerotti, the Interfax-Ukraine.

He said that during the campaign the Pope to Ukraine in the Catholic churches of Europe held a fundraiser.

Gujarathi noted that “the result was very generous” and managed to collect more than 11 million euros, to which the Pope added another five million from their personal funds.
