The MP called on the Parliament to unite around Zelensky

Нардеп призвал Раду объединиться вокруг Зеленского

In the Parliament urged to support the program zelenskogo

MP Stanislav Berezkin urged colleagues to stop “to put a spoke in the wheel” and to unite around the program of Vladimir Zelensky.

The Verkhovna Rada should cease “to put a spoke in the wheel” to the President-elect and unite around a program of Vladimir Zelensky, said the people’s Deputy of Ukraine Stanislav Berezkin. He wrote about this in his blog on the Censor.NO.

“Merrymaking around the date of inauguration is an alarming sign of everlasting illness of Ukrainian opposition, which now becomes an outright farce on the principle of “itself not DIN and to another do not give.” Suspicion and mistrust prevented from moving forward,” writes Berezkin.

In his opinion, it is high time to overcome political shortsightedness and partisan pettiness.

“The result, which won the election with Vladimir Zelensky, does not deny the European way of development of Ukraine, but only confirms it. The new President received a mandate not to change course, and its continuation,” – emphasizes the blog MP.

According to Berezkina, the people entrusted this mandate to the new head of the state, because “the current government is your credit of people’s trust not held”.

“The new President have new ideas for development, which supported by the people. The Parliament must consider them, and after a transparent dialogue, as a team with newly elected President to start implementing,” – said Berezkin.

In addition, the MP outlined the priority , in his opinion, areas of cooperation of the newly elected President and parliamentarians. Only three of them: the restoration of peace in Donbas, the replacement of a majoritarian electoral system is proportional with the powerful parties who are able to create a workable coalition, and the formation of a transparent competitive environment for business.

“If the new ideas of the new President will contribute to peace, renewal of the political system, the real fight against corruption, my colleagues and I in Parliament will support them. The Parliament should adopt and support the new President, voted 73% – almost three-quarters of voters,” added Berezkin.

Earlier it was reported that the Committee postponed the question of the date of the inauguration. In the rules Committee say they have not received all ordinances of the date of the inauguration, therefore, will consider the issue tomorrow at 15:00.
