The auction for the sale of commemorative coins the Granting of the Tomos of autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine did not take place from-for absence of demands from participants.

The auction for the sale of commemorative coins issued on the occasion of granting Ukraine the Tomos of autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, did not take place due to the lack of people willing to take part in it. This is evidenced by information posted on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.

“The auction for the sale of commemorative coins the Granting of the Tomos of autocephaly of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine, scheduled for the site of the Universal commodity exchange house of contracts UICE 29 August 2019, did not take place in connection with absence of demands from participants,” notes the report.

At this auction, anyone could purchase coins in denominations of 100 UAH gold case, face value of 50 UAH silver with case, nominal value of 20 hryvnias silver case, face value of 5 UAH of Nickel silver in the gift box.

As reported, the NBU on July 22, puts into circulation a commemorative coin of silver Giving a Tomos of autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine denominated in UAH 50, weighing 500 grams and with a circulation of 1000 pieces. Retail price will be UAH 12824.

We will remind, the national Bank of Ukraine from October 25 this year, introduces into circulation a new banknote of a high value of 1000 hryvnia.
