These data show the decrease of victims of the conflict in General by 16% compared to the previous three-month reporting period.

At the same time, as stated by the head of the UN mission, the number of victims of attacks has increased by 66.7%.

According to the UN mission among the victims were 11 men and 1 woman. Among the wounded 31 people, 24 women, 4 girls and 2 boys.

During the last reporting period, there were 87 civilian casualties – 15 killed and 72 wounded.

Fraser also noted that the assessment of the UN Monitoring mission is to ensure that during the entire period of the conflict the number of dead civilians is more than 3 thousand people, including 298 passengers of Malaysia airlines (flight MH17), died in July 2014. And the number of wounded among civilians resulting from the conflict is estimated between 7 thousands and 9 thousands.

Earlier, the UN 2017 called “one of the most deadly” for civilians in Eastern Ukraine.
