The national Olympic committees of Ukraine and Japan will continue cooperation until 2020. A Memorandum on the extension of cooperation in the framework of his working visit to Japan was signed by the President of the NOC of Ukraine Sergey Bubka, the official website of the NOC of Ukraine.

The main Olympian of our country visited the headquarters of the NOC of Japan, where he met with its President Tsunekazu Takeda and Vice President Yasuo Saito. Heads of Olympic committees discussed the issues of deepening cooperation, paying particular attention to the possible interaction with the light of the 2020 Tokyo games of the XXXII Olympiad.

The Japanese side expressed its readiness to assist in organizing training camps for the Ukrainian Olympians and participation of our athletes in different sports at test events in the country of the Rising sun.

Also under the agreement Olympic committees will cooperate in the field of research and development in sport, sports medicine, doping control, exchange of sports delegations and the like.
